ProMark Agency Division, Philadelphia-based Promo Marketing Media Group’s new agency-style marketing and advertising unit, has received two Apex Awards for its custom publishing work. At the 28th annual Apex Awards, the company won an Award of Excellence in the “Catalogs, Directories and Guides” competition, and another Award of Excellence in the “Best Redesign” category.
For the “Catalogs, Directories and Guides” award, ProMark partnered with a Top 50 supplier within the promotional products industry and developed its 2016 catalog, showcasing a variety of items and trends within the 124-page publication. ProMark was responsible for all photography, design, copy and artistic direction for the catalog, as well as the filming and direction of videos related to the project. The “Best Redesign” award was for ProMark’s work on the redesign of NonProfit PRO magazine.
“We are extremely proud to receive the Apex Award of Excellence for our custom work,” said Kyle A. Richardson, editorial director for Promo Marketing and ProMark, who spearheaded the catalog project. “For more than 10 years, we have helped suppliers and distributors to create compelling, beautiful catalogs and other marketing pieces, and it is an honor to have our creative work recognized by the Apex Awards.”
Promo Marketing launched ProMark in January 2016 to better serve the promotional product industry’s marketing needs. The agency division of the company produces catalogs, videos, newsletters, advertisements and a variety of other creative services to suppliers and distributors. Promo Marketing and ProMark also have won awards for their videography, magazine design and writing from numerous organizations.
“The promotional products industry is growing and becoming more competitive than ever, making marketing even more important for successful suppliers and distributors,” Nichole Stella, group president of Promo Marketing Media Group, said. “With ProMark, we are able to offer our industry partners award-winning, agency-level marketing solutions written by industry experts that will stand out from the competition. No other company can match our deep understanding of the promotional products industry and world-class design team.”
The Apex Awards acknowledge publication excellence in the categories of graphic design, editorial content and overall communications effectiveness. This year, it evaluated more than 1,600 entries in the competition. In the past, members of the ProMark and Promo Marketing teams also have won several other Apex Awards, including “Best Feature Writing” and “Best Blog Writing.”
