Promotional Products Association of Florida Donates over $500 to Curing Kids Cancer Organization

The Promotional Products Association of Florida (PPAF), Tampa, Fla. announced it raised more than $500 in donations through a raffle held at an association celebration at Gameworks in Tampa, Fla. The donations will go to Curing Kids’ Cancer, a national grass roots movement to raise awareness and funds to find cures for all types of childhood cancer. Curing Kids’ Cancer programs fund the development of cutting-edge therapies which will revolutionize childhood cancer treatment by replacing traditional chemotherapy.

Lorrayne Mancari, division manager of Geiger and PPAF president for 2010 commented, “What we love is that the members come together not only to have a good time, but also to do good for our community. The raffle is a fun way to collect donations so everyone wins, the children and our members.”

The raffle held in mid-December, consisted of six gift packages donated by PPAF suppliers. The donation was made on the behalf of all PPAF members.
