Now that Nov. 6, 2010, has been selected as the date for Promotional Professionals Pay It Forward Day (PromoProsPIFDay), the organization announced it needs a logo and is looking to the industry for help. The PromoProsPIFDay Design A Logo Contest is accepting submissions until September 17.
The logo must incorporate the organization’s mission of bringing all facets of the industry—from suppliers, distributors, service providers and regional, national and international associations—together through volunteerism to build a sense of community within the industry and to make an positive impact in the process. The logo can be designed in full color but must also have a simple version appropriate for use in decorating promotional products.
Submissions will be judged by the PromoProsPIFDay steering committee on the following criteria:
Creativity
Incorporation of mission
Ability to be used digitally as well as for decoration on promotional products

Promotional Professionals Pay It Forward Day was created by a group of promotional products professionals with the mission of bringing all facets of the industry—from suppliers, distributors, service providers and regional, national and international associations—together through volunteerism to build a sense of community within the industry and to make an positive impact in the process.
Individuals, companies or groups can participate by simply selecting a charity that is meaningful to them (can be local, national or global organizations) and perform a needed service on November 6.
