John Cudahy, outside sales representative for Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Raining Rose, has earned the certification of Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) administered by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). He is the third individual on the Raining Rose team to achieve this honor.
The MAS certification requires the completion of and current CAS certification, a minimum five years of experience in the promotional products industry, additional MAS level course curriculum, industry service and passing a comprehensive exam.
“The pursuit of education is fundamental for success, both personally and professionally,” Cudahy said. “Obtaining the MAS certification provides me with the experiences to deliver on-trend, relevant strategies for my clients—ultimately, helping them succeed.”
This certification demonstrates a commitment to both business excellence and continual professional growth. A relatively small percentage of professionals hold these certifications and are known as the industry’s innovators and leaders.
“I am a huge supporter of education in general, but that is especially true of PPAI’s Certification Program,” said Raining Rose’s promo sales director Lindsey Davis. “It is a great way to demonstrate commitment to providing our customers with industry expertise. Much of our sales team is certified already, and we are now in the process now of having our sales support team all go through the [Trained Advertising Specialist] program.”
Cudahy joined the Raining Rose team in May of 2019 after 15 years in the promotional products industry, gaining experience with multiple Top 40 suppliers and as a regional leader with SAAGNY. He represents the Northeast sales territory for Raining Rose promotional sales.
