SanMar, Seattle, has added apparel industry veteran Tom Lawson as manager for the southwest region. In this role, Lawson will represent Oklahoma and manage sales representatives in Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Missouri.
“We are ecstatic to have Tom join us,” said Dan Tushar, national sales manager. “He brings apparel experience of the highest level and a keen understanding of what our customers need.”
Lawson’s involvement in the apparel industry has spanned more than 20 years. Some of his key positions have included regional apparel sales manager and national department store manager for Nike, and national sales manager for Marika, a womens’ sportswear manufacturer. Most recently, Lawson was the national sales manager for Kidorable, a children’s wear manufacturer.
