SHOWTIME Earns Support of Advertising Product Suppliers

The newly organized SHOWTIME, Greenland, N.H., has been given the support of the Advertising Product Suppliers (APS), Mansfield, Texas, according to Alan Goldfarb, SHOWTIME founder. The decision to support SHOWTIME was made by several APS leaders in a recent meeting to review the potential benefits for its membership.

APS is the industry’s only trade group whose membership is limited exclusively to suppliers. Goldfarb said the partnership is a milestone for both organizations. “No other traveling trade show has ever before been formally recommended by suppliers,” he said. “As a coalition of suppliers, this is also the first time APS has expressed its support for one of several trade shows that cater to suppliers in a very competitive trade show market.”

“Our members were quick to declare their preference for SHOWTIME,” noted Gene Cesario, executive director of APS. “It’s a tribute to Alan Goldfarb for the fine service and exceptional value he’s delivered to them over the years.”

SHOWTIME has offered to reduce rates for APS members in an upcoming series of SHOWTIME events: APS members who register by July 15 qualify for a special 3-week rate of $1,895, a savings of $ 190.

APS members also qualify for reduced rates for extra services: Extra tables at $250/week and cargo service at $200/week. APS members who register and pay by Oct. 1 qualify for special 2008 rates: 3-7 weeks $795 per week, a savings of $ 100 per week; 8-11 weeks $705 per week, a savings of $ 90 per week; and 12-13 weeks $615 per week, a savings of $ 80 per week.
