416957_10151223158169817_1421034421_nSonic Promos, Gaithersburg, Md., announced that it has signed a license agreement with PBS, America’s largest public media enterprise.

This agreement will provide opportunities for nearly 350 local public television stations to utilize and co-brand PBS goods that support the brand, including PBS KIDS, PBS Digital Studios, PBS KIDS’ “Kart Kingdom” game and the “PBS Nerd” brand. Additionally, this partnership opens the door for both retail agents and individuals to actively engage with and display their affinity for the PBS brand through the purchase of branded custom goods.

Initially, the partnership will focus on building “PBS Nerd” as a brand image. This fashion-forward line reflects the mantra “Everyone is a nerd about something,” and provides an outlet for fans of the brand to express their support for the educational and informational programming PBS provides through local member stations.

“Our entire team supports the work and educational mission of the PBS brand, and looks forward to supplying tangible materials to help strengthen PBS’s brand locally and nationally, as well as from one generation to the next,” said Seith Weiner, president of Sonic Promos.

The current catalog can be seen at www.pbsnerdstore.mybrightsites.com, with new items added weekly. Proceeds from purchases will support PBS content and services.
