For those not aware of the “Cash Me Ousside Howbow Dah” meme, that’s probably a good thing. To sum it up: 13-year-old Danielle Bregoli and her mother appeared on the Dr. Phil show to discuss the teen’s behavioral issues. The conversation became heated, as it tends to do on this particular television program, and the audience started jeering at the young lady. After slinging a few slurs toward the audience as a whole, Bregoli told them that they could meet her after the taping, presumably outside of the studio, to fight. How about that?
In our digital world, things like this grow with the snowball effect of the internet. Bregoli’s “threat” reached such high levels that she’s started selling merchandise related to the meme. One item in particular, which is modeled after the Champion logo, wasn’t well received by Hanesbrands Inc., parent company of Champion.
According to Fox 25, Hanesbrands Inc. gave Bregoli a week to stop the production of the Champion-themed sweatshirt. To her credit, Bregoli (or whoever is in charge of her webstore) pulled the item.
Fans can still get a Bregoli-themed puzzle with her face as it appeared on Dr. Phil, or an assortment of other T-shirts. Unfortunately, the blanket, ceramic plate and tote bag are all sold out.
