Steven C. “Steve” Patton, co-owner of Highland Computer Forms, passed away on July 26 as the result of a farm accident. He was 66.
Patton was born in 1959 in Wilmington, Ohio. After attending Southern State Community College, Patton first worked with Rotary Forms in Hillsboro, Ohio, until he joined the form manufacturer Highland Computer Forms, rising to vice president of operations and eventually joining Rob Jones as co-owner.
In addition to his work in the print industry, Patton was still deeply connected to the farming lifestyle he was brought up with, and continued working with his father’s cattle business, Patton Seldom Rest Farm, as a Limousin breeder. He shared this passion with his family, teaching his children and grandchildren to love both cattle and the people that make up the cattle industry.
Patton is survived by his wife, Lynne; his daughters, Autumn and Kayleesue; five grandchildren; two brothers; sisters- and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
