Sweda Launches New Completely Redesigned Company Website and New Products

Sweda Company LLC, City of Industry, Calif., announced the kick-off of its completely redesigned company website, www.swedausa.com. The sleek, attention-getting design of the new website introduces a Google-like product search tool on the home page not previously seen in the industry.

“We challenged ourselves to do what nobody else has ever done,” said Rich Santos, director of I.T. “We did our homework to really understand our users inside and out and removed all the clutter to allow them to get directly to what they’re looking for—our products.”

The unique SMARTSearch tool introduced by Sweda Company LLC in January 2010, which debuted search filters by product category, color and price range, has been expanded to allow product searches by price, new inventory, special services and industry/theme.

“In addition to the new functionality, we also have some really cool features within the site,” commented Jamie Berridy, marketing manager. “For instance, we’ve added the Project Planner, basically a virtual idea portfolio for users to create and store ideas for their clients. Also, our backgrounds are clickable which allows us additional marketing avenues for showcasing our products.”

Sweda Company LLC plans to enhance the website in the months to come by monitoring reporting tools within the site to track how it is being utilized and will roll out ongoing improvements accordingly.
