The awards ceremony was the final celebration of the three-day annual meeting.
Victorinox Swiss Army won the award for the Largest Percent of Sales Increase within the group within the sales category of suppliers $50 million and above. To gather information for the awards, Premier Promotional Group staff used several sources: sales numbers reported by supplier members, sales numbers reported by distributor members and results of a questionnaire that was sent to all PPG distributor members last September.
Victorinox Swiss Army’s Corporate Markets Division Announces Enhancements
Jeff Thompson, vice president of sales for Victorinox Swiss Army’s Corporate Markets Division, based in Shelton, Conn. recently announced several organizational enhancements designed to best serve the company’s customers.
On the sales side, Daniele Luciani and Gary Kakos were promoted from inside sales representatives to regional account managers. Luciani now handles the Northeast region, including New York and New England, and Kakos handles the Mid-Atlantic region, from New Jersey to Virginia and as far west as central Pennsylvania.
“Transitioning Daniele and Gary to these new roles was a natural progression of their careers, not to mention key to forming a powerhouse network of regional account managers nationwide” said Thompson.
Additionally, to help support them and the company’s other regional account representatives across the country, the organization has transitioned a group of customer-service representatives into the newly formed Regional Account Representative (RAR) team for the division. In this role, RARs focus on a geographic area in conjunction with the outside regional account managers. This allows the internal and external team to better understand the accounts in each area and their specific promotional and program needs.
This group is managed by Annette Jensen and consists of Barbara Killeen for the Southwest region, Beata Korponay for the Mid-Atlantic and Central regions, Bethany Cordeiro for the East and Southeast regions, Dawn Formanek for the West region and Pam Turosky for the Midwest region.
