Walker-Clay/Hub Pen Team Races to Benefit Outward Bound

On September 17, 2009, a combined Walker-Clay/Hub Pen corporate running team “Write Stuff” participated in the ninth annual Thompson Island 4k Trail Run to benefit the island’s Outward Bound Education Center. Runners followed the course through 204 acres of rolling hills, forests, meadows, salt marshes and beaches. Hub’s veteran runner Bob Stearns led the way for the team with a time of 19:16.

Walker-Clay is a family-owned promotional products company from Hanson, Mass. The Walker-Clay staff offers extensive knowledge of the promotional products industry as well as top-quality ad agency experience. Writing-instrument supplier Hub Pen is also a family-owned business, located in Braintree, Mass.

Thompson’s Island, six miles southeast of Boston’s waterfront, is one of the 34 public islands in the Boston Harbor Islands National Park.
