Remember those “The Walking Dead” T-shirts that Primark pulled due to racist undertones? Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays the bat-wielding Negan on the show, fired back at the U.K. retailer’s decision, calling it “stupid.”
Holy crap people are stupid. 'Walking Dead’ Shirt Pulled From Stores After Complaint of Racism https://t.co/cpeIqcxTwJ

The shirt was pulled because some customers took offense to the racist origin of the “Eeny meeny miny moe” rhyme, which is featured on the shirt.
A Primark customer told The Star that he and his wife were “shocked” when they saw the shirt.
“It was fantastically offensive, and I can only assume that no one in the process of ordering it knew what they were doing or were aware of its subliminal messages,” he said.
We wonder what those customers would think of the show sending actual bats wrapped in barbed wire to some of the MLB’s biggest hitters.
