Have any of you ever dreamed of competing in the X Games? Maybe you fantasize about dropping in on the giant half pipe or going off some big jumps on a snowboard. For those who aren’t destined for the competition, there’s still a chance to live their X Games dreams, just a little differently.
In cooperation with Creative Allies, X Games is launching two competitions to create the commemorative items sold on site at X Games Aspen and X Games Minneapolis next year, according to a press release.
The competition for the Aspen games started on Monday, and the Minneapolis competition will start next spring.
For the Aspen competition, designers can create the official commemorative poster, and for the Minneapolis event, illustrators and designers can create original artwork and imagery for a skateboard deck.
The winners of each competition also will receive a $1,000 cash prize and VIP passes to the event.
