The word from Orlando is cold. Outside it is cold, hitting a purported 32 degrees. Inside the the hotels it’s cold with people donning the light emergency jackets they thought they would never read. And, inside the convention hall it cold, perhaps more so from the icy grip 2009 has left on everyone, the the weather.
The universal sentiment from all the conversations I heard was thank goodness it’s over. One supplier remarking that “The new growth is a 10% loss.” Cold.
While normally a trade show with all it’s hand shaking and sketchy cleanliness would inspire me to dial up a hand-sanitizer as the top product, the afore mentioned weather leads me else where. So, put on the extra sweater, pour yourself a warm one, and enjoy this week’s product.
