Question: Is there one screen in QuickBooks Premier where I can look at my open sales orders and invoices?
Answer: Yes, QuickBooks has a feature called “Income Tracker” that does just that.
Go to “Customers,” then “Income Tracker.”
The dashboard shows a current accounting of various income segments. At the top, you will see totals for “unbilled” (open sales orders), “unpaid” (open invoices), and “paid” (invoices paid in the last 30 days).
It can also filter these income elements by customer, type (sales order, invoice), or date.
And at bottom of the screen, for each transaction type, batch actions can be done. For instance, with invoices, you can batch print or email the selected invoices from this screen.
Income Tracker is an excellent cash flow planning and management tool that is often undiscovered.
