You Didn’t Come This Far To Only Come This Far

No matter where you are in this business, how much you have accomplished or what level of success you have achieved, there is always a next level.

Many of you reading this may have the mental scars and bruises to show for your hard work. For some, those scars and bruises may be piling up and getting in your way of advancing to the next level. Sometimes the rejections and failures we experience every day in developing our businesses can be very painful.

If you don’t have lots of scars and bruises, you aren’t trying hard enough to grow your business.

The key is to remember that your scars and bruises are all self-inflicted–yep, self-inflicted. We all experience rejection and failure, but the key is to never see the disappointing actions of others as a negative reflection on you. They are not. They are simply opportunities for you to learn what you could have done differently or better to avoid being rejected and experiencing failure in the future.

When we blame others or take the actions of others personally, we give others permission to hurt us and control us. We let those feelings create roadblocks to inhibit us from moving forward.

When we look within, and examine ourselves in the pursuit of continuous learning and improving, we grow and look forward to moving on and implementing the lessons we learned.

You didn’t come this far to only come this far.

You have an amazing road ahead of you. Learn. Improve. And move on.
