The adventures of your favorite rookie are going pretty well. I’ve just returned from my first industry business trip to PPAI Las Vegas. Prior to this cross-country journey, I certainly had not done much traveling. In fact, post-college, most of my life has been split between tiny beige cubicles and the weird mix of pine trees and delis that is South Jersey. (Seriously, there are eight delis on the maybe five-mile street that leads to my house! Eight! Who needs that many sandwiches?)

I’ve got some good news and some great news. I’ll start with the great news first: After a tenure of 51⁄2 years, Friday, April 25 will be my last day at Promo Marketing magazine. I’ve accepted a new position as a writer at an ad agency. So, herein is my final entry to my three-month stint as a PromoMarketing.com blogger (well, I suppose the part about the end of the blog might be the only bad news).
But, here’s the good news: Although I will no longer be a full-time staff editor at Promo Marketing, I will, however, continue writing for the magazine

Today’s news is the launch of the new PromoMarketing.com Website. After months of development, we are happy to say that we’re up and running and raring to go. The goal is to provide distributors and suppliers that latest and greatest information, be it new products or reviews of the best that is out there.
I hope everyone will stop back, or take a minute between searches to see what is going on with all of our industry insider blogs. Publisher Matt Barnes will be sharing his more than 10 years of industry knowledge, as will Promo Marketing magazine editorial director Nichole Stella.
