Roland DG is summing up its mission through a new branding identity and message: Make your mark.
“From the beginning, Roland DG has existed to empower creativity and innovation,” said Kohei Tanabe, president of Roland DG corporation. “This new brand identity builds on that heritage while reflecting on how we and the world around us have evolved. ‘Make Your Mark’ is about enabling people to leave a positive impression – in their work, in their businesses and in the world around them – and supporting them with the reliable solutions and partnership they need to do so.”
Coinciding with the branding initiative, Roland DG introduced its new TrueVis VG4 series of wide-format printers.

Roland showcased the new identity, along with its print capabilities on wide-format substrates like signage and decals, as well as on promotional products like drinkware, with a video. Roland DG will continue to introduce the new identity across its digital channels, as well as at in-person events like the ISA Expo in Orlando taking place this week, and FESPA in Barcelona, Spain, in May.
“‘Make Your Mark’ is about recognizing the pride people take in what they create,” said Stephen Davis, director of global marketing for brand and communications at Roland DG. “Our customers don’t just want tools that work. They want the confidence to put their name to the output, knowing it will stand the test of time. This refresh gives us a way to express the role Roland DG plays in helping people do exactly that.”
