Promo Insiders: Andrew Titus & Walter Miska Discuss What’s Next for Fully Promoted

Fully Promoted (asi/384000) has gone through some big leadership changes lately.

The Counselor Top 40 distributor announced last month that former President Andrew Titus has transitioned to the role of president at United Franchise Group (UFG), parent company of Fully Promoted. Titus, the youngest son of Fully Promoted and UFG founder Ray Titus, passes the baton to Walter Miska, who assumes the role of brand president at Fully Promoted after building a franchise in culinary staffing, operating a successful Fully Promoted franchise and serving as a regional vice president at UFG.

The succession felt like a natural one. In fact, Titus says Miska was one of his first mentors.

“Walter and I have known each other for years now, first through his experience as a franchisee, but also when he came to work for us on the corporate side as a regional vice president, and when I was starting fresh at that point in the industry in sales for the company, Walter was actually my mentor,” Titus explains.

He adds that he wanted to fill the role of brand president with someone who knew the brand and the industry, but who also had a great personality. Miska seemed like the perfect fit.

“I sent a text to Walter, and said, ‘Hey, I have an idea,’” Titus says. “That’s what started [the conversation], and why we are where we are today, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it.”

On Miska’s end, the feeling was mutual.

“To me, this is coming home,” Miska says of his appointment to brand president. “The last 20 years of my career have really been leading to this. … It’s really the brand I believe in most of all the things I’ve done, and I’m really excited to be back here and filling this role.”

Titus and Miska joined this week’s episode of the Promo Insiders podcast to discuss what they’re looking forward to most in their new roles, how the leadership change will impact Fully Promoted franchisees and each of their favorite promo products.
