The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa, hosted its annual national sales meeting, Vernon University, March 31 to April 2, at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort & Spa in Savannah, Ga. The three-day event brought together nearly 130 Vernon Account Executives from coast-to-coast and 80 industry supplier partners.
The sales meeting featured a number of educational workshops, supplier presentations, an 80-booth trade show featuring the company’s preferred suppliers, networking events, the Vernon Million Dollar Club Member Luncheon, Vernon Galaxy Awards recognition, and industry speakers. This year’s event also included fun activities like a performance from an energetic singing comedian and a Vernon Family Feud competition between account executives from three different regions around the country. The entire event was topped off with a formal awards banquet recognizing the company’s top performers, rising stars and supplier stand-outs.
The 2015 Vernon National Sales Meeting is being planned for April in Albuquerque, N.M.
