During the first quarter of 2014, promotional products retailer 4imprint, Oshkosh, Wis. donated $43,000 in in-kind grants to 86 nonprofits and charities across the United States and Canada through its “one by one” charitable giving program. Among the donations: sunglasses and jump ropes to the American Heart & Stroke Association in Sacramento, Calif., plans to use for program participants incentives and fundraising events, and stadium cups the Children’s Hospital Foundation in Oklahoma City, Okla., plans to use at its 5K/15K/Miracle Mile event.
Using $500 in-kind donations of promotional products, charities generate awareness for their organizations, reach customers, promote events and thank key audiences. 4imprint also donates product samples to organizations to help advance their causes.
“It’s humbling to hear the incredible work these organizations are doing to improve the lives of people and their communities,” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, president and CEO, 4imprint. “We are inspired by their stories.”
