Alstyle Apparel, Anaheim, Calif., recently announced it’s donating all T-shirts for teams participating in the Long Beach CANstruction 2014 Competition. Alstyle donated two styles in five different colors to the event, in which canned goods will be given to Food Finders, a local nonprofit organization that helps feed impoverished families, children and elderly in the Long Beach, Calif. community.
“Alstyle is pleased to sponsor this CANstruction event because of its nationwide reach to provide hunger relief in local communities,” Chris Caldwell, director of marketing and merchandising, said.
The Long Beach CANstruction Competition will take place on August 21, 2014 at the Mercedes Benz of Long Beach dealership showroom. Local architectural and engineering firms will gather to build unique structures entirely out of canned goods, totaling over 7,000 pounds.
