BroderBros. Adds Additional Champion Fabric Technologies
BroderBros. Co., based in Trevose, Pa. announced it will introduce several new Champion styles via its fall catalog and expects to see double-digit retail growth reflected in the imprintables industry.
BroderBros., which is comprised of three divisions, Alpha Shirt, Broder and NES, is the exclusive supplier of Champion activewear in the imprinted sportswear channel, including several of its most popular and successful performance-wear styles. The collection has been enhanced with new levels
of performance, so customers can now find the right product for their individual needs.
“There are strong correlations between the success that Champion’s Double Dry has had at the retail level and the product’s success in the imprintables industry,” noted Andrea Engel, vice president, marketing, BroderBros. Co.
“New fabric technologies are a growing trend that has had a tremendous impact on the corporate apparel business,” Engel concluded. BroderBros. will debut seven new Champion performance styles in October 2009. In addition to performance styles, Champion will reintroduce several of its top-selling activewear styles, with new exterior branding. The “C” logo will be added to their most popular T-shirt, and fleece styles, in visible locations on the garments.
“The brand is becoming increasingly popular among a younger audience,” commented Summer Scott, Champion merchandiser. “With the new ‘C’ logo, it will become easier to spot Champion apparel, which is a key factor when targeting the consumers in their 20s.”
