Butler Street, a provider of client loyalty research and retention programs across the print industry, in conjunction with Promo Marketing‘s sister publications, Printing Impressions and Print+Promo, announced its “2016 Best of Print & Digital” program award winners. An annual program in its inaugural year identified which companies have provided the highest service delivery to their customers over the last year.
The 2016 Best of Print & Digital Award winners are (in alphabetical order):
- DFI – Solutions in Print
- Digital Label Solutions
- Drummond Press
- Label Art
- SupplyLogic
- Vanguard
- Wise
The program utilizes the Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodology, which has been regarded as the single most leading indicator of future revenue. A company’s NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of of detractors (those who rated their likelihood to recommend a company with a 6 or below) from the percent of promoters (those rated them a 9 or a 10).
In order to qualify for the award, companies must have received a minimum score of 40, as well as achieved other eligibility requirements, such as percentage of customers surveyed and response rate.
“We are excited to finally have a recognized benchmark for the industry,” said James Martin, president and CEO of the Printing Association of Florida and Graphics of the Americas. “NPS aligns with our mission as it is a proven way to help our members maximize profit, accrue new business and ensure long-term growth.”
The average score for the winners of the program for the print industry for 2016 was 53.
“Leveraging [NPS] as the industry standard enables an industry of approximately 30,000 print and print-related companies to truly differentiate themselves in the marketplace by measuring each company’s performance through their customers’ eyes,” said Mike Jacoutot, Butler Street’s founder and managing partner. “Needless to say, this year’s winners have set a high standard for the industry.”
