Cap America Damaged By Tornado

Fredericktown, Missouri-based Cap America announced that at approximately 11:30 a.m. central time on Friday, May 8, a tornado touched down in Fredericktown, Missouri causing minor damage to the company’s warehouse. The company reported no injuries as employees were well-prepared to take shelter.

“We are beyond grateful that all associates made it to their designated areas and promptly took cover after warnings were issued,” said Bruce Watson, Cap America’s COO. Inventory and machinery was not damaged when the roof blew off in the 125 mph winds.
