Castelli Changes Name and Expands Service to Canada

With the expansion of service to Canada, Castelli USA, Reno, Nev., has changed its name to Castelli North America Inc. Last month, Castelli’s parent company, Italian-based Lediberg S.p.A., made the strategic decision to consolidate North American operations and run all activities from its Nevada-based facility.

“One of the primary reasons behind the decision to consolidate the Canadian and American divisions is to streamline operations so we can be even more competitive in 2010 and beyond,” said Missy Kilpatrick, CAS, Castelli North America executive vice president. “Additionally, the consolidation benefits Canadian-based distributors by offering an expanded line of 30 new products and 15 new materials that, until now, have been previously unavailable.”

Kilpatrick will lead the Canadian sales effort with the help of Castelli’s national sales manager for Canada, Sarkis Barkanian.
