ASI Research has launched a new series profiling the people distributors work with most closely: end-buyers. Each week we’ll release a new data set that spotlights one of eight markets and looks at end-buyers through demographics such as gender, region and company size.

This week, our research focuses on end-buyers at companies with 1,001-5,000 employees, the sixth of several company size categories surveyed throughout the United States.
A company in this size category is typically classified as a midsized corporation. Based on number of employees, some of the largest industries among this end-buyer demographic include manufacturing, administration/management and healthcare, according to the Statistics of U.S. Businesses series from the U.S. Census Bureau.
ASI’s 2024 promotional products end-buyer research show that companies with 1,001-5,000 employees are most likely to consider “thanking employees and customers” as a goal of promo, as well as the most likely to name “more value for your money” as an important benefit to receive from distributors. This company size also purchases promotional T-shirts, writing instruments, flags and banners more than other company sizes.
