The Golden State Warriors were undefeated going into the Dec. 12 matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, but a few Bucks fans in the crowd were confident that the streak would end. Bucks fans donned “24-1” T-shirts, which turned out to be correct after the Bucks ended the Warriors’ winning streak. Now Warriors fans got their revenge by printing “10-18” T-shirts, representing the Bucks’ less impressive record, before last weekend’s rematch.
USA Today reported that the T-shirts were the Warriors’ blue and gold colors and stylized like the Warriors’ uniforms, like how the Bucks T-shirts were the team’s green and off-white.
Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd told USA Today that he took the fans’ move as a compliment.
“They took the time out to waste money on the T-shirt, which is cool,” he told USA Today.
