The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported that Interlogix, Lincolnton, N.C., is recalling its wireless personal panic devices due to the fact that the device can fail to operate during an emergency. In other words, it doesn’t do the one thing it’s supposed to do.
The recall involves approximately 67,000 units sold through professional security installers and distributors in the U.S. from May 2014 to January 2016.
The CPSC recommended that consumers immediately contact their distributor to receive a free inspection and a replacement for those that fail.
