New Wave Group Opens Doors on First-Ever Canadian Sales Office

New Wave Group AB, parent company of AHEAD and Cutter & Buck, opened the doors last month on its first-ever Canadian sales office in Toronto’s chic fashion district on Wingold Avenue.

New Wave Group has been consistently making significant investments into its Canadian operations, including the acquisition of Paris Glove in 2011. The merging of AHEAD headwear, apparel and accessories plus Cutter & Buck’s apparel, into New Wave’s Canadian division serves as the next logical step toward further business growth.

Shane Brett, national sales manager for New Wave Group, who oversees the new Canadian division, said 10 sales representatives have been hired to represent the brands throughout the country. They are:

  • Alex Southam, Alberta (golf)
  • Chris Broderick, Alberta (corporate)
  • Craig McGlenen, British Columbia (golf / corporate)
  • Angela Campagnoni, Atlantic (golf / corporate)
  • Stephanie Paquet, Quebec (golf)
  • Audrey Laplante, Quebec (golf)
  • Paul Kraus, Ontario (golf)
  • Jason Nadeau, Southwest Ontario (golf)
  • Dave Cullum, Ontario (corporate)
  • Phil Whatmore, (specialty menswear C&B)

Brett said the new sales office serves as a showroom for AHEAD and Cutter & Buck products, including the new spring 2014 lines of apparel, accessories and headwear. AHEAD and Cutter & Buck’s presence in Canada, Brett said, will be further heightened in ensuing months with representation at major golf buying shows throughout the country.

“These are significant steps for us to open our Toronto sales office and launch our spring ’14 products with an energized new sales force,” Brett said. “Our sales team is strong, with experienced and accomplished reps in every territory. The new product lines from both brands are fresh, exciting and on trend. We also are presenting a host of new products to the Canadian market for Spring ’14.”
