Our 5 Favorite Promotional Products of the Week: Onion-Dyed T-shirts, Tim Hortons Merch and More

You know, most of the time we find products to use in the Favs from scrolling through social media or surfing our favorite businesses’ online shops.

Every now and then, though, we find something truly in the wild and think, “Oh, this would be great for the Favs.”

And then we forget.

Brendan went to his friends’ wedding this weekend, and received a lovely can cooler with their names and the date on it. He used it all night to keep his hands comfortable and his drinks cold. And then he forgot it at the venue.

So, until his friends return from their honeymoon and can give him another one to take a photo of, you’ll have to just trust us that it was a great promo product. In the meantime, here are five other products that caught our attention.

1. Tim Hortons ‘Double Double’ Merchandise

Since Timmy’s isn’t really common south of the (Canadian) border, we don’t fully get the attachment to whatever a “double double” is. But, apparently our neighbors in the Great White North do, at least enough to appreciate a line of apparel and merchandise based on it.

2. Run the Jewels ‘No Save Point’ Puzzle

Some of us got pretty into puzzles during the pandemic, and that hobby has stuck with us. It’s such a meditative act. For this one, we can throw on some tunes from rap duo Run the Jewels while we do the puzzle to get the full experience. (Anything less than 1,000 pieces is child’s play, by the way.)

3. Reanimator Coffee Tie-Dye Shirt

We’ve included stuff from Reanimator before, but this tie-dye T-shirt, dyed with natural indigo and onion, is worth celebrating. We’re big fans of using natural ingredients, and that color scheme is excellent.

4. Lando Norris’ Pole Position Trophy

Formula 1 driver Lando Norris lost out on winning the Russian Grand Prix in heartbreaking fashion over the weekend, but he still got this nifty Pirelli Tire trophy for earning pole position in qualifying. I’m sure he would have preferred to be on the podium, but we think this is a more creative trophy.

5. ‘The Dollop’ Josenicorn Sticker

“The Dollop” is a history podcast hosted by comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds. Reynolds’ cat Jose is frequently mentioned on the show, and this sticker is a hilarious take on the chunky little guy.
