PRINTING United Alliance, Fairfax, VA, announced last week a new partnership with European printing industry trade show drupa.
“PRINTING United Expo’s one-roof approach aligns very strongly with what drupa has brought to the industry over the last seven decades,” says Sabine Geldermann, director of Portfolio Print Technologies for drupa, said in a statement. “Showcasing the many applications printing technology has these days, not only in the graphics arts field but in packaging, industrial and textile is what our attendees appreciate.”
drupa, which is organized by Messe Dusseldorf, takes place every four years in Dusseldorf, Germany, and showcases print technologies relating ot the printing, packaging and graphic arts industries.
PRINTING United Expo is held yearly by PRINTING United Alliance, and brings together worldwide graphics arts and printing capabilities under one roof.
“Our partnership with drupa underscores our commitment to advancing the entirety of the printing industry,” says Ford Bowers, CEO of PRINTING United Alliance. “Together, we will be able to deliver even more opportunities for growth and collaboration to all who participate in the marketplace of events. We look forward in the coming months to sharing our conversations on how this partnership will unfold and the benefits to all our partners.”
More specifics about the nature of the partnership were not disclosed publicly at time of publication, but PRINTING United Alliance alluded to future updates as the partnership evolves.
