Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, city council members and community representatives were on-hand to celebrate the completion of a much-anticipated move to a newer and larger facility for Senator Promotional Group USA Inc. Formed after the merger of promotional product industry leaders Dart Business Accessories and Senator USA, Senator Promotional Group USA houses both brands in the new facility.
Located on the west side of downtown Dallas, the facility’s centralized location will further enhance the company’s nationwide delivery capabilities. The location of the company’s U.S. headquarters, near Interstate 30 in the Pinnacle Park development, is also a testament to the community’s emergence as a thriving business hub.
“This is a great story,” said Mayor Leppert. “The company that acquired Dart Business Accessories was not located in the Dallas area. But, they chose to move their operations here—and that shows that Dallas is the place to do business. Now, a company that started here will remain here.”
“This new facility provides jobs to more than 190 people and leases 108,000 sq.ft. of space in District Three,” said Dallas city councilmember Dave Neumann. “We celebrate the company’s decision to move its operations to West Dallas and become part of our economic engine.”
“Merging these two companies into one location is a natural and exciting step forward for us,” said Jim Burrow, president and CEO of Senator Promotional Group USA Inc. “Dallas not only did not lose Dart Business Accessories, but gained Senator USA and the addition of 60 jobs to the area.”
