The Book Company, Delray Beach, Fla., announced the introduction of U.S.-made custom journals featuring full-color art space, lower minimums and faster turnaround, said its president, Doug Greenhut.
Featuring full-color art space all the way around, these new journals are available in both Paperback PerfectBind and Hardcover CaseBind styles. Both styles are available in two sizes (5″x7″ and 6″x9″) and include 168 lined white pages. Production time for any of these new items is 15 business days from proof approval. Optional upgrades include full-color printed Promo-Pages and full-color printing on the inside of the front and back cover.
“Our custom journals have really set us apart in the industry, but many distributors just don’t have the 10-12 weeks required for our overseas production,” said Greenhut. “Our new state-of-the-art printing facility here in Florida is a true game-changer for us. With both paperback and hardcover style journals being manufactured in the United States, we’re able to cut-down dramatically on our delivery times for items that would previously have come from Asia.”
According to Greenhut, minimums for the Made in the U.S.A. Custom Journals are 200 pieces for paperback ($7.50R) and 1000 pieces for hardcover ($12.50R). Larger quantities will have additional customizing options available, such as adding a client’s logo on every page. The Book Company, which also provides award-winning creative design services upon request, is offering EQP pricing on both custom journal styles through the end of 2014.
