The Vernon Company Names Leed’s as Supplier of the Year
Newton, Iowa-based The Vernon Company announced it awarded industry supplier Leed’s with its “2008 Supplier of the Year Award.”
This award is given annually to the industry supplier who provides the best overall service to The Vernon Company and its customers. The award is based on important quality considerations, including pre-sale quotations, proper handling of samples, prompt service on inquiries, on-time order shipments, customer service responsiveness and marketing support programs.
“Since being named a Vernon Preferred Supplier in 2005, our sales with Leed’s have increased 62 percent,” said Jeff Burnett, vice president of marketing for The Vernon Company. “They have gone above and beyond to develop our partner relationship and are very proactive with Vernon catalog participation and attending our meetings and trade shows,” Burnett concluded.
The Vernon Company Hires Trumble-Anderson
The Vernon Company announced it hired Amy Beth Trumble-Anderson as an account executive in its Central Region. Trumble-Anderson is a 26-year industry veteran, having joined The Vernon Company from L.W. Barrett Company.
“After reviewing several industry companies, I felt The Vernon Company would be the best fit for my clients, and me,” said Trumble-Anderson. “I can see my clients really benefiting from Vernon’s Web site and the technology they offer.”
