Wallace Carlson Printing, a Minnetonka, Minnesota-based commercial printer, has announced its acquisition of select assets from Owatonna-based J-C Press. The acquisition expands the company’s services to a diverse range of commercial printing capabilities and customer base that include wide-format and signage. Wallace Carlson will continue to serve the J-C Press client base and maintain a sales office in Owatonna, Minn.
“We are very excited about the expanded capabilities this acquisition provides us, as well as adding seasoned employees,” said Brian Turbeville, president of Wallace Carlson. “J-C Press has an established reputation for quality and efficiency, and we are excited about this opportunity for future growth.”
The transition will occur over the next couple of weeks. There will be staff operating out of both Minnetonka and Owatonna once the transition is complete.
“At Wallace Carlson, our mission has always been to continually invest and expand our capabilities,” said Charlie Cox, COO of Wallace Carlson. “This acquisition is definitely part of that direction.”
“We are most excited about what this acquisition will mean for our clients,” said Patrick McDermott, owner of J-C Press. “J-C Press has always taken an active role in the Owatonna community, providing quality services that have maintained the strong local relationships we have enjoyed for so long.”
Ann Turbeville, CEO of Wallace Carlson, is thrilled to welcome the added members to the WCP team.
“We have built one of the best teams of printing professionals,” she said. “This acquisition will only prove to enhance that and position us for further growth in our industry.”
