Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays, especially since we get to see extended family and old friends while also going to town on turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. We all know at least one person who will argue that the gravy is the best part of the meal, and now they can even show their love for it with this “Gravy” T-shirt that’s tie-dyed using actual gravy.
Yep, you read that right.
Kentucky for Kentucky is a company that eats, breathes and sleeps anything and everything Kentucky-themed, and it’s now selling this $50 “Gravy” T-shirt. And it’s not just regular gravy—it’s 100 percent real KFC gravy.

Kentucky artist Coleman Larkin elaborated on the idea behind the Gravy T-shirt in a blog post:
When it comes to Thanksgiving, you’ve got your turkey people and your sides people. Me? I’m all about that sauce. I wanted to create a wearable work of art for all the other sauce kings and kweens out there living that grimey sauce life. I see you and I appreciate your struggle.
This is pretty much a T-shirt that embraces anytime you’ve accidentally stained a white T-shirt with gravy.
One Instagram user commented on the post asking, “How many washes is the gravy good for?” Kentucky for Kentucky responded saying, “They’ve been pre-washed and treated to retain as much again as possible… we’d imagine they’d wear about like a regular tie-dye.”
The gravy tees are hand-made (each one with unique tie-dye markings) and are a limited run, so it’s hard to say how long they’ll be available. If you know someone who loves gravy—specifically KFC gravy—this is definitely the shirt for them.
We’re still not sure if the shirts smell like actual gravy, but we’ll report back if we hear anything.
