Hello from Atlantic City! We are here for the last day of PROMOTIONS EAST. My personal list of highlights is below. Add your favorite parts in the comments.
1. Attendance
Regional shows can vary when it comes to distributor attendees, so seeing strong attendance this year gives hope for the future and shows the importance of one-on-one interactions in this industry.
2. My Feet Survived
I’d like to credit my platform wedges and Promo Marketing’s weekly apparel newsletter Threads, which kept me sitting and typing for a good portion of my time here.
3. Lunch & Learns
They offered a solid hour and a half to two hours of foot rest, interesting education and delicious buffets.
4. Fashion-EAST-a Show
I scored a front-row seat at the Fashion-EAST-a event, allowing me to view the trendiest promotional apparel up close.
5. Weather
While the current 60 degree weather is far lower than last year’s 80 and 90 degree days, the cool ocean air has been refreshing (especially during the 5K).
6. Howard Alan Blum 5K
I was worried that running at 6:30 a.m. this morning would be unpleasant, but the run rejuvenated me and excited me for the last day of the show. Also, it felt wonderful to wear sneakers.
Enjoy your last day at PROMOTIONS EAST!
