Question: What is the safest way to contact QBO?
Answer: The least safe way to contact QB is to use a number or a link that was the result of a Google search for anything related to QB Customer Service. Don’t do this. Ninety-nine out of 100 are scams.
The safest and best way to contact QBO is through your QuickBooks program.
When your QBO is open, go to “Help” > “Contact Us” > select issue or “Ask About Something Else” option, where you will need to enter the problem in a few words (so you get the correct support). Hit “Continue” and then ”How would you like to connect with us?” Select your preference of appointment, call Support (to call the support line directly), chat or callback (for them to call you).
You will also see the wait time for the options. I use callback. Generally, the wait time is 5 minutes or less, but it can be quite lengthy depending on the call volume or the time of day. I try to avoid the times of day when the East and West Coast business hours overlap.
