Question: I am considering switching to QuickBooks Online. I charge sales tax in several states. Can QB do that?
Answer: Yes, one of the more helpful features of QuickBooks Online (QBO) is that it calculates sales tax automatically based on the “Ship to” address.
When setting up Automatic Sales Tax in QBO, you can designate one or multiple states where you collect and remit sales tax.
