In honor of the beard-infused, action-loaded punchfest that is the recently released movie Thor, I thought it might be fun to see what Asgardian-related promos I could dig up on Promo Marketing’s product search. Let’s have a look, shall we?
1) Search term: Hammer
The mighty God of Thunder is famous for smashing bad guys with his trusty hammer Mjolnir. Was I able to find any god-worthy weaponry on PromoMarketing.com?
Sort of. No giant mallets or anything that appears to be even remotely imbued with the power of Odin, but there were a couple cool finds. My favorite was the Pen-Ham from Shepenco. Probably not great for smashing frost giants, but absolutely clutch for playing desktop croquet.
The Multi Function Hatchet Tool from Logomark was the most weapon-like thing I could find, but seems a little too Batman-y for our lunkish demigod.
2) Search term: Frost Giant
Was I able to find a good match for frost giants, the classic foes of Thor and his Asgardian brethren? No, but I stumbled across something even better.
Behold the glory of Royal Crest Promotion’s Giant Pizza Shaped Stocking. Standing a mighty 5 feet tall, the pizza stocking is loaded with awesome toys, instead of whatever awful nightmares sit in the belly of frost giants (presumably livestock, gross frost giant mead and Norse children who neglected their chores).
3) Search term: Thor
Time to hunt for the main-man himself. Was our all-powerful search able to turn up the hammer-wielding hero?
Of course it was. Check out this amazing Thor Statue from Tiffany Leonard and Co., as well as these cool designs from Tervis Tumbler (#1 and #2).
Now to figure out a way to get all these superhero statues mailed to my desk somehow …
