Reliving Sixth Grade Picture Day

Greetings loyal readers,

The video production from PROMOTIONS EAST is going well, and by well I mean I haven’t touched it in a week, instead trying to hammer out our July issue. I’m sure I’ll get to it soon enough, but in the mean time, I thought I would post a few photos I took from the show:

(please forgive the how the captioning worked out. I did not realize the photos would be separated from the rest of my post. Just pretend like it’s one of those matching quizes from middle school, where you have to pair the picture with the right vocab word)

1. Me working on Tuesday’s newsletter. Most of you probably only know me from the bizarrely saucy headshot that opens my blog, but I think we can all agree it’s totally lacking in the huge head and unnecessary ear detail departments. Well, fret no longer, because now we can all study my gigantic dome and every millimeter of my ear forever and ever on the Internet, together.

2. Charlie and Chrissie, our managing online editor and senior editor, working on the newsletter I believe. Charlie looks like he is torn between burning me with a killer insult and flying off like Superman. I’m sure he was able to manage both with something like, “Up, up, and I disapprove of your mediocre haircut!”

3. Nikki, our editorial and online director, and Kyle, our managing editor, with Ned Borowsky, head of all NAPCO publications, of which Promo Marketing is a part. In the background, from left to right, you can see: Anthony Stover, senior distributor account manager; the top of Rob Yoegel’s head, vice president of eMedia with NAPCO; the back of Kerrick Jones’ , our special project manager, and Chrissie’s head; and Erin Burke, our director of marketing, who is rocking the ill-timed-yet-purely coincidental face cover.

I’d post some more pictures, but the rest are going to be up on the PROMOTIONS EAST Web site in the next few days. You can see them here.

CHARLES PLYTER FACT OF THE WEEK: Charlie has informed me that I can take stills from my videos, and post them as photos as well. In the not-too-distant future, I will probably be attempting this.
