Thumbprint (asi/293564) is bracing for the future of AI.
The distributor, formerly known as ScreenBroidery (asi/305623), announced this week new leadership additions that reflect an increased investment in its tech and development organization.
Mark Hendrickson will join the company as director of technology, marking what Thumbprint calls the first phase of a broader strategy to build “the next generation of merchandise automation, intelligent integrations and AI-powered customer experiences.” The announcement is the first of several initiatives the distributor plans to unveil in the coming months as part of this effort.

Hendrickson brings decades of experience working in technology with a focus on print management and e-commerce. He spent the last 20 years as the director of e-commerce at GO2 Partners, a company that helps organizations navigate challenges like unpredictable supply chains, shifting consumer sentiment and technological evolution.
As part of this change, Thumbprint has also announced that Trevor Woodman, lead software developer, will assume an expanded tech and development role. Woodman will contribute to Thumbprint’s internal development pipeline and help deploy features, integrations and workflow automation for customers.

“Thumbprint is entering a new chapter,” said Thumbprint CEO Tom Rector. “We’re building a technology engine that doesn’t just support our customers – it anticipates their needs. The future of branded merchandise is intelligent, predictive and frictionless.”
Thumbprint is no stranger to large organizational changes. The newly molded company was reborn in February, when Indianapolis-based distributor ScreenBroidery, a Counselor Best Place to Work, acquired Orlando, FL-headquartered Thumbprint. The two distributors rebranded into what the industry now knows as Thumbprint. The distributor also acquired Graphicon, Inc. (asi/212902) in late 2024.
