American Roller Co. holds company meetings in Mexico

A roller supplier based in Union Grove, Wis. is uniting its employees from its nine manufacturing facilities for a four-day event in Cancun, Mexico. More than 30 American Roller Co. employees and their spouses will travel south of the border next month to the all-inclusive resort Golden Parnassus where executive management as well as sales- and plant-management teams will get to know their peers at other sites and gain insight on teamwork, sales strategies and future business developments.

San Francisco Proposes Bottled Water Ban

The first city to ban plastic bags has become a pioneer again by considering the prohibition of distributing bottled water on city property. If approved, the legislation, introduced Dec. 17, would phase out the sale and distribution of plastic bottles containing 21 or fewer ounces of water on municipal property starting Oct. 1, 2014.
