HALO Branded Solutions, the distributor based in Sterling, Ill., announced the addition of 17-year industry veteran Liza Sachs to the company’s field sales leadership team. Sachs joins HALO as vice president of sales for the Southeastern region, responsible for sales growth in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. She will be based in Atlanta.

American Apparel announced preliminary sales for the month ended July 31, 2013. On a preliminary basis, total net sales for July 2013 were $57.6 million, an increase of 5 percent over July 2012. Comparable sales for July 2013 increased 8 percent, including a 6 percent increase in comparable store sales in the retail store channel and a 23 percent increase in net sales in the online channel. Wholesale net sales increased 2 percent for the month.
